My approach to commercial and advertising photography is all about capturing the essence of the brands I shoot. It begins with an idea and as the engagement progresses I develop a collaborative relationship with the brand's team to create a look from that idea. Whether photographing food, lifestyle, celebrities, nature or still life in the context of any given brand, my aim is always to make memorable images that are stylish, delightful, unexpectedly interesting or just plain fun to look at.
I have been shooting commercial and advertising photography for nearly 20 years. My ongoing commitment to my clients' success has taken me, regardless of geography, to some unique locations and countries. Although I specialize in food photography my credits in that and other subjects include Spalook.com, Rockport Shoes, Mission Foods, Farm Jones, Guerrero and Maseca, to name a few.
My design practice that began almost two decades ago has evolved over the years in parallel with my other professional capabilities, often times mingling together to explore and expose strong narrative solutions. I use bold and sometimes delicate lines, decorative typeface and unique manipulation of light, shadow and darkness to instill a sense of tri-dimensionality to yet two-dimensional designs. I am passionate about my craft, of finding edge where others may see the end.As art director and designer, I have created visual solutions for numerous great brands in the United States, Mexico and Colombia. From branding, advertising, logo design, brochures, signage, events, billboards and packaging among others, my body of work covers with extreme finesse most of graphic design's applications.
3D Graphic Design is an ideal blend between photography and traditional design, where I am able to take both capabilities to a new level, that allows me to play with form, color and light, and also with movement to add significant substance to my narrative challenges. I create three dimensional glossy, visually compelling and high profile visual solutions for advertising, broadcast and event design. I focus mainly on motion design, animation, modeling and architectural and interior design rendering.
